The Role:
As Director of Product you will be on the front line to make our products better every day. You will lead a team of multiple product managers across the customer software functions, helping to build both physical and digital product. You will play a critical role in understanding and shaping our products’ user experience, their performance, and the joy they bring to customers. We have a fast-paced, highly-collaborative workplace where you will work closely with engineers and other functional groups on truly unique products.
Things You’ll Own/Do:
Own the product roadmap of the Website (Oven Sales and Marketplace), the App (Android and iOS), the on-device software and internal tools
Work closely with a team of product managers on sprint planning, resource allocation and feature development
Work with the QA team to ensure successful releases and the highest product quality
Be hands-on with your team of product managers to generate product requirements and features for each product vertical
Be the advocate of our users and manifest their needs through the end-product
Design experiments and analyze data to explore challenging problems and deliver insights to the team
Mentor and manage your team of product managers to be the best they can be
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
6+ years experience in consumer mobile, internet or IoT products
4+ years of management experience with at least two product managers as direct reports
Solid technical and software development knowledge; CS degree or experience with coded production-level web/mobile apps preferred
Excellent project management skills
A strong command of experiments, analytics and analysis; live product experience a plus
Comfort managing multiple priorities and simultaneous projects at various stages of completion
Ability to develop a deep understanding of customer behavior
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A passion for food and cooking
